my mind burping

life without struggle is life without growth. pain and endurance makes you cherish life.

This world is a harsh reality, but your response to it doesn't have to be.  It is a cruel, cruel world. Yet friends and family help you weather through the storms.

It can't rain everyday.

As I peered into my past, it is a dark one. I noticed we all must walk through it, but how we come out of it molds our minds and hearts, to another level (good or bad).

More next time.

My Mind Fart for the Day

I have been visiting my Godfather & Godmother for the past couple weeks.  Their vast knowledge and wisdom always astounds me.

I asked my Godfather this question: "What are your beliefs? Why do you do the things you do?"

He told me:

When you receive so much out of life, your abundance, return it...pass it on to the next person. (My Godfather donated money to his hometown in China, adding a gymnasium and other facilities for the local school.)

Be true to yourself. Assess yourself honestly.

Give everyone you meet a fair shake. Set yourself into their shoes and see if you like to be treated that way.

My Godfather has a tremendous past; he fully lived his life and continues to touch people lives. I have yet to achieve anything of his magnitude. But I am bless to get to know my Godparents better and to understand their lives and philosophies and hope to bring them to my life.
